This system provides a discrete and robust disposal facility for sanitary napkins which are discharged into a dry bin that needs to be regularly serviced by a sanitary contractor.
CONCEPT - The Duraclenz sanitary disposal was designed to suit a fully self contained public toilet facility that offers neutral gender access suitable for all members of the community. The bin is located in a service area outside the toilet cubicle to avoid problems normally experienced with sanitary disposal bins which include: (a) Disruption of the access for disabled users (b) Difficulty in cleaning under and around a free standing bin (c) Free standing bins can offend some men and children using these neutral gender facilities (d) Free standing bins can be tipped over by vandals exposing members of the public to dangerous chemicals and waste material.
ROBUST CONSTRUCTION - The Duraclenz sanitary disposal system uses a stainless steel chute which forms a tray when opened and discards the contents into a fire retardant bin in the service area or recessed cabinet when released. The rotation moulded fire retardant plastic bin is also encased in a stainless steel cabinet to minimise the risk of fire damage in case flammable products are put into the chute.
DISCRETE IN-WALL CHUTE - The access chute for discarding this type of contents is very small and discrete and recessed into the wall so it cannot offend other users.
EASY CLEAN - The stainless steel surfaces are all easily cleaned with normal commercial cleaning products.
EASY SERVICING - Servicing of the sanitary bins is very simple. The cleaning contractors can either have two separate bins and simply open the stainless cabinet in the service area and remove and replace the plastic bin using the handle provided. The full bin can then be removed from the site for emptying and sanitising. Alternatively, the normal cleaning contractor can simply use a plastic bin liner. It is essential to ensure that a suitable cleaning contractor is willing to undertake the servicing before an Duraclenz sanitary disposal system is purchased or installed.
VANDAL RESISTANCE - The stainless steel chute is fully fixed through the wall with stainless steel bolts so it is almost impossible to damage by vandalism.
EASY INSTALLATION - The Duraclenz sanitary disposal facility needs to be recessed through the wall into a service bay or cavity that is at least 350mm deep. The chute is suitable for a wall thickness of between 20mm and 60mm and can be easily installed by cutting a hole for the chute through the wall and attaching the stainless steel bin to the service bay side of the wall before inserting the plastic bin.
QUALITY APPEARANCE - The brushed stainless steel finish provides a very high quality appearance in any public toilet environment.
FRONT ACCESS OPTION - If access to a separate service bay is not available, Duraclenz can provide an alternative unit that has a key lockable swing door below the chute allowing the plastic bin to be serviced and the box to be cleaned from the toilet cubicle itself.
